Car Window Tintingnear Horncastle
Straight along the A158 through Wragby. Around 40 minutes, and free parking when you get here.
West along the A158 through Wragby
From Horncastle it's the A158 west — the Skegness–Lincoln road — through Wragby and on into the city. About 23 miles and roughly 40 minutes.
The A158 brings you in on the east side, so continue round towards the south-west and Whisby Road. We're on Farrier Road just off it.
If you're coming in summer, be aware the A158 carries a lot of coast traffic at weekends — a weekday slot is usually a smoother run.
Why Horncastle drivers come to us
Horncastle is a fair distance from any specialist tinter, which is exactly why the guarantee matters. Driving 23 miles twice because a cheap tint failed is nobody's idea of value.
Every tint we fit is covered for life against bubbling, peeling and fading. We only use professional-grade film and cut it by machine to your exact model, so the finish is consistent whether it's a hatchback or a motorhome — and we do plenty of both.
- Fitted indoors in a purpose-built workshop
- Cut by machine to your exact make and model
- Lifetime guarantee on every tint
- Road-legal, checked before we start
How dark do you want to go?
There's no legal limit on the rear half — it's entirely down to the look you want. Send a photo of your car before you set off and we'll tell you what suits it.

Horncastle questions
I'm coming from Horncastle — can you do it in one visit?
Yes, and that's what most people do. Most vehicles take two to three hours, so drop it off in the morning and it's ready the same day. We'll message you as soon as it's done rather than leaving you waiting around.
How much does car window tinting cost?
It depends on the vehicle and how many windows. As a rough guide, a rear half tint on a standard hatchback starts from around £100–£150; SUVs and vans are a bit more.
Send a photo and your reg to 07796 822574 and we'll come back with a real price the same day — worth doing before you set off from Horncastle.
Is car window tinting legal in the UK?
Tinting the rear half is completely legal with no limit on how dark you go — rear windscreen, rear side windows and quarter lights included.
The front is capped: the windscreen must let 75% of light through and front side windows 70%. Most factory glass already sits at those limits, so we check before we start and won't fit anything that puts you the wrong side of the law.
Will tinted windows pass an MOT?
Yes. The MOT only tests light transmission on the front windscreen and front side windows. We tint the rear half, so your car passes with no issues.
Do your tints come with a guarantee?
Every tint carries a lifetime guarantee covering bubbling, peeling, fading and discolouration. If the film ever fails we redo it at no cost — which matters rather more when you've driven 23 miles to have it done.
How long before I can put my windows down?
Leave them up for at least 15 days so the film cures and bonds properly. It won't peel off instantly if you have to open one in an emergency, but the longer you leave them the better the final result.
